SCIENTIFIC LIFE - (THE 2nd SEMESTER, 2014) (Conferinta)

Rezumat

The Legal Research Institute “Acad. Andrei Rădulescu” of the Romanian Academy, in partnership with the Global Economy Institute and with the support of several academic institutions and organizations, launched the research program titled “Horizon 2020 - Doctoral and Postdoctoral Studies: Promoting the National Interest through Excellence, Competitiveness, and Responsibility in the Field of Romanian Fundamental and Applied Scientific Research.” This project is part of the Sectorial Operational Program for Developing Human Resources 2007-2013, specifically under Priority no. 1, which focuses on "Education and training in supporting the growth and development of a knowledge-based society," with a major field of Intervention 1.5 - "Doctoral and post-doctoral research support." The beneficiary of this project is the Institute for World Economics of the Romanian Academy.

The official opening ceremony for this project took place on June 30, 2014, in the Aula of the Romanian Academy. The event featured speeches from the directors of the research institutes involved and high-ranking representatives from other academic institutions.

In terms of legal research, this project provides an opportunity for an in-depth analysis of the new Romanian regulations enacted since Romania's accession to the European Union. This includes a study of the four new codes. Given the project's overarching objectives, both doctoral and post-doctoral researchers have the chance to explore the relationship between national and EU regulations, both theoretically and practically.
