This article intends to carry out an analysis of the practice of Prosecutor's Offices to order the prosecution regarding certain defendants for having committed manslaughter, in the context in which investigations were carried out in terms of homicide committed by another person, with regard to the same victim. Thus, assuming that the crime perpetrator cannot be held criminally liable or is not identified, the criminal investigation bodies have ordered the prosecution for manslaughter by persons who, by failing to meet some legal or contractual obligations, facilitated the occurrence of death.
